Bengali department is the largest department in honors category in terms of student admission or intake capacity as well as faculty volume in Karimpur Pannadevi College . Students are maintaining good performance in the stage of academic performance under evaluation procedures by Kalyani University. Department always holds proactive part to indulge the interest of the students about language and literature apart from statutory syllabus. Not only that Bengali department is very much aware about the rules, regulations and discipline of the college and tries to teach the students to be serious about this matter
